I have nearly 40 years' experience in the music business. I perform both solo and accompanied by a band. Milestones of my career in music include mulitple national tours as an opening act for the likes of "James Taylor", "John Prine", "Dan Fogelberg", "REO Speedwagon", "Head East", "Rick Derringer", "Joe Walsh", "Mason Proffitt", "Poco" and most recently, legendary North Mississippi blues player "Kenny Brown", and Memphis' Trey Jewell. I am a former Decca/MCA recording artist, and I now have my own independent record label, "Dubble Shot Records", and am in the process of starting a music publishing company. I have a small, intimate studio, which offers both analog and digital recording. I am always on the look-out for promising, up-and-coming new artists. I am a BMI registered artist, and a member of "Nashville Independent Music".

In 2004 one of my bands, "Border Ruffians" won Single of the Year in the Beacon Music Awards. Last year, I won "Mainstream Artist of the Year" and the "President's Award" in the same competition, and this year I'm nominated for "New Album of the Year", "Single of the Year", "Male Artist", "Songwriter of the Year", "Group of the Year", and "Mainstream Artist" in the Southern Heritage Music Awards competition.

As I evolve as a musician and songwriter, so my music evolves, as do my bands. So keep listening, cause with any evolution, there are always changes and surprises in store.

I would also like to add that I am not only a member of the Sons of Confederate Veterans, but a Heritage Officer for them, as well.
