Ross Moore runs the gambit from singing old time favorites and playing instruments popular during the Southern War for Independence to picking some of the hottest bluegrass coming out of Nashville. He plays twelve different instruments, including Autoharp, Dobro, Hammered Dulcimer, Mountain Dulcimer, 6 and 12 string Guitar, Banjo, Mandolin, Celtic Harp, Irish Pennywhistle, Concertina and Harmonica. Along with strong vocals, and his brand of down home humor, Ross puts on a show that captures the imagination of old and young alike.

Ross has been in the entertainment business for over twenty-five years. After moving to Nashville, he performed for several months with the Twitty City Music Village; before being hired by Opryland Theme Park. He performed with many well known entertainers such as Porter Wagoner, Little Jimmy Dickens, Bashful Brother Oswald, and the legendary George Burns. In the winter of l996 he was asked to bring his show to one of the grandest music halls in the country -- the Ryman Auditorium invited Ross to do a six-week engagement for the Christmas holidays. The show was such a success that it was held over for two additional seasons. Then during 2002 Ross Moore was chosen to be one of the musicians to perform at the Grand Opening of the new Country Music Hall of Fame in Nashville. Since the closing of Opryland Theme Park, this multi-talented musician has shared his knowledge of his acoustic instruments in educational workshops, as well as performing in concerts, folk festivals, conventions, youth camps, reunions and fund-raising events across the southern and eastern United States. Ross' most recent concert was held in the Performance Hall at the Renaissance Center near Nashville.

Ross is a proud member of SCV Camp #155, located in Tullahoma, Tennessee; and holds the honorary title of Tennessee Division Bandmaster. He was recently honored by having his recording of "Southern Son" chosen for inclusion on the SCV National Recruitment Video, as well as one of the selections on the 2006 Southron Anthology CD.

He is an arranger, published songwriter, and has produced four CDs which reflect his music over the years, namely Stringing Me Along (bluegrass), Appalachian Sunset (treasured acoustic sounds of an evening in the Appalachian hills); Southern Son (a musical collection that encompasses the joy, sorrow and pride of the Southerners during the un-Civil War), An Old Time Christmas (a magic combination of beloved Christmas songs with the instruments which knew them first); and is currently recording his newest CD -- Road to Lisdoonvarna (a musical celebration of Ross' Celtic heritage).
