Celtic Confederate currently has one member, John Horsley. He is also the only person involved in the making of the music, but he plans on recruiting other talented artist's. John tells us, "My whole goal, is to defend my Southern heritage, through many genres of music. The majority of my music will be in defense of my culture, but other songs will be in favor of God, and other things."

John was born in August of 1983. He began playing the guitar when he was 14, and did not learn from any sources, other than "my own mind." In fact, John says he is not familiar with what chord is what. "I play alot of chords, but don't know which ones I'm playing, because I do not have to rely on other sources to teach me about music. I depend upon my own mind," says John. Celtic Confederate released its first song, on 08/03/07, and John tells us he plans on making music all of his life. As far as versititlity goes, John can handle a range of insturments. John told us that he can "play the acoustic guitar, electric guitar, banjo, mandolin, keyboards, Native American flute, and harmonica." He went on to say, "I'm not the greatest at any of those instruments, but I am great at being a one-man band. Some people want to be the greatest guitarist's in the world, but I want to be one of the greatest artist's, of music, in the world." John lives in Alabama.
